				  Make Your Mark with a Tenner winners were announced yesterday and really caught the eye of the UK&#8217;s media.

Ten enterprising students at Newcastle College showed they have what it takes to be the next Simon Cowells by pooling their ten pound loans and holding a rock concert for their fellow students last Friday night. During a visit to St Bernards School in Rotherham today Diane and I saw the Tenner teams in action making the most of morning break to sell their wares. One team took the healthy option providing fruit kebabs to their peers whilst another group made a tidy profit selling individual chocolate digestives.
