Chamber Awards 2010 - Entrepreneurs who have achieved outstanding success in running their business are invited to enter the British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) Chamber Awards. Entrants must be BCC members. One overall winner will then be chosen to win a £25,000 prize. The firms in second and third places will receive £15,000 and £10,000 respectively. Stopford’s £10k Prize For Green Breakthrough – Environmental technology innovators are being invited to enter a competition with the chance of winning £10,000 of product development support. Envirolink Northwest is sponsoring this year’s event and will be involved in judging the competition and delivering of the prize alongside Stopford. The Environmental Sustainability Knowledge Transfer Network is also on board as a supporter of the competition. Guinness Bring It To Life AwardsThe Guinness Bring It To Life Awards, in association with UnLtd and Rathbone, will work with people aged 25 – 35 who have a brilliant urban regeneration idea that will make a difference to their local community. People will receive a Guinness Bring It To Life Award through UnLtd and will have access to funding, training and volunteer support from Rathbone and Diageo Great Britain to bring their social ventures to life. The Guinness Bring it to Life Awards honour Arthur Guinness’ commitment to supporting local communities.
