Hull students have a ball celebrating enterprise success
April 23rd, 2010 by Jane
Students from across Hull gathered at the KC Stadium to celebrate their success in participating in the Enterprise Academy’s programme which has led to their achievement of an OCR qualification in enterprise and developed their understanding of the sports business. Representatives from Hull FC and Hull RLFC, the Premier League, Hull Youth Enterprise Partnership, Yorkshire Forward, Young People’s Enterprise Forum, Business Link and Enterprise UK congratulated the students and posed with the FA Cup which had centre stage for the evening.
The academy has exceeded targets for both engagement and qualifications and is the only enterprise academy which works across 2 sports. The project complements Hull’s success in bring recognised as the most enterprising place in the region in 2009.
